Arbed am Byth have been appointed by the Welsh Government to arrange the installation of energy efficiency measures, like central heating or insulation in homes across Wales as part of the Welsh Government Warm Homes scheme.
Welsh Government Warm Homes scheme provides insulation and efficient heating systems to the homes of households who are struggling with the cost of high energy bills, making homes warmer, more comfortable and more affordable to heat.
Welsh Government Warm Homes is funded by the Welsh Government and managed by Arbed am Byth. The aim of the scheme is to install appropriate energy efficiency measures in properties across Wales, to help people who are struggling to effectively heat their home. We are working with the Welsh Government, local authorities and our partners is Energy Saving Trust to establish areas in Wales that would benefit most from the scheme.
As Head of Arbed am Byth, Brian has overall responsibility for ensuring end to end, world class service delivery across all facets of the business. Strongly aligned to the Welsh Governments strategic objectives with specific attention to the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, Brian will ensure that Arbed am Byth delivers a programme of works that is people focused, driven at supporting those most in need and that rids our communities of cold-damp properties to improve the health, well-being and prosperity of people across Wales.
Brian has worked in the energy and fuel poverty sector for over 15 years and has led on the development and delivery of national government area based programmes in England, Scotland and Wales as well as delivering strategic economic energy sector growth initiatives across Europe.
Stephen Phillips is the Supply Chain Manager for Arbed am Byth, with primary responsibility for the procurement and management of all sub-contractors engaged in delivering Arbed’s fuel poverty agenda. With over 20 years leadership experience within Local Government, RSLs and private companies; Steve has led on regeneration schemes using innovative community assessment methods, delivering targeted environmental programs and managed grant funded programs alleviating poverty, worklessness and developing local enterprise.
Steve is committed to reducing fuel poverty through the delivery of effective energy efficient measures and providing appropriate energy saving advice. Steve is also committed to maximising the commercial opportunities for SMEs and communities in Wales afforded through the delivery of the program.
As Customer Service Manager, Matthew has overall responsibility for the smooth running for the customer face of Arbed am Byth. Matt passionately believes in improving the lives of people in Wales by reducing fuel poverty and creating warmer, more energy efficient homes through the delivery of effective measures and appropriate energy saving advice to those who need it most. Matthew brings with him 12 years’ experience in shaping the customer journey and delivering excellence.
Matthew has headed up customer operations in many different arms of the energy industry where he has led cultural transformation to put the customer front and centre of every process. Matt is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by empowering a happy and engaged workforce to take full ownership of each interaction, making a difference to our customers, employees and the wider Welsh community
As Programme Manager, Sarah will lead Arbed am Byth’s role in the development of local Arbed schemes across Wales, effectively managing key relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders in local communities to ensure the scheme’s successful delivery.
With over 13 years experience in Programme Management in local government, leading service transformation within a Customer Service environment and driving organisational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Scott Lowe has a vast background in Logistics, Program/Project management, H&S, Lean, Materials Data Management, Operational management and is a qualified Training instructor. Scott has specialized in all classes of dangerous Goods, training development, design and modifications with mentoring, Neurolinguistic learning and listening skills.
Served 16 Years as a Royal Air force Officer adopting a right first-time approach with a keen eye for detail, processes, policies and practices including security, H&S, environmental and compliancy within many disciplines.
Scott is a very adaptable and approachable manager which instills confidence, respect and work ethic from his staff and other members of the company.
Jiaqi Ding is qualified as an Associated Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2014 and had wide experience of accounting and financial applications for a range of business from SMEs to PLCs across multiple sectors.
Over the last 10 years, Jiaqi has developed her career working within the SME companies, and now she is the Financial Controller of Arbed am Byth Ltd and responsible for overseeing the financial position of the Arbed business and supporting senior management team for developing the strategic plans.
